Privacy Policy — Hebrew Calendar Reminders

Hebrew Calendar Reminders ("the App") is developed by Havivon ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the App handles and how.

1. Data we collect

We do not collect any personal data. The App does not require an account, does not have an active sign-in screen, and does not send any information about you or your device to us or to any third party.

2. Data stored on your device

The App stores the following locally on your device only:

• The reminders you create (title, Hebrew date, time, type, notification style)
• Your app preferences (language, theme, location for zmanim calculation)
• A history of past notifications (for the archive screen)

This data never leaves your device. If you uninstall the App, all data is permanently deleted.

3. Permissions

The App requests the following Android permissions, used solely for the App's functionality:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — to display reminder notifications.
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM — to fire reminders at the precise time you chose.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — to restore your scheduled reminders after the device reboots.
• WAKE_LOCK / USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT / DISABLE_KEYGUARD — to show the alarm-clock-style popup over the lock screen for reminders configured with "popup" alert style.
• VIBRATE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE — for delivering the alarm reliably.

The App does not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, location (GPS), or any other personal source. The "location for zmanim calculation" setting is a selection from a pre-defined list of cities — your real-world location is never read.

4. Third-party services

The App does not use any third-party analytics, crash-reporting, ad networks, or tracking SDKs. The only network access the App may make is the standard Android system call to download display fonts via Google's Downloadable Fonts service — and that request contains only the font name, no information about you.

5. Children's privacy

The App is suitable for all ages but is targeted at adults setting reminders for Jewish calendar events. We do not knowingly collect any information from children, since we do not collect any information from anyone.

6. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post a notice in the App's release notes.
